The Teddy Bear

Since you have been gone, your teddy bear hasn’t been the same.

Now, it just leys in bed, staring at the ceiling.

He has a hole in his chest now,

And it won’t close with anything.

Remember how he would dance with the cat?

Well, he won’t dance anymore.

When he seats in your chair, he will start crying.

When he watches TV, he does not laugh.

Your cup was filled with cotton one morning.

He had cut himself.

Your flowers are sad too,

Because the teddy bear won’t talk to them anymore.

The other night, my pillow was wet,

With the bear’s tears.
